El enfermero registrado asume la responsabilidad de la gestión y entrega de la atención al paciente utilizando el proceso de enfermería. Puede ser necesario flotar a otras unidades y participar en el estado de llamada. Responsabilidades
La gestión de la entrega y documentación de la atención al paciente por parte del enfermero registrado incluye, pero no se limita a:
- Evaluaciones y re-evaluaciones
- Desarrollo del plan de atención
- Implementación de intervenciones adecuadas de atención al paciente
- Evaluación de intervenciones adecuadas de atención al paciente
- Supervisión y coordinación de otros profesionales licenciados y no licenciados en la provisión de atención a los pacientes según se asigne
- Proporcionar orientación y mentoría a personal no licenciado y estudiantes, según corresponda
El personal de salud mental debe ser capaz de asistir con la restricción física de los pacientes, utilizando el sistema de técnicas de gestión de comportamiento identificado.
Este puesto puede tener demandas físicas adicionales o variadas y/o requisitos de prueba de ajuste respiratorio. Calificaciones
- Licencia actual como enfermero registrado (RN) en el estado correspondiente o licencia multistatal actual de un estado miembro del Compacto de Licencias de Enfermería (eNLC).
- Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia aplicable.
- Certificación BLS actual al momento de la contratación, o finalización dentro de los 30 días posteriores a la contratación.
- Debe poder comunicarse efectivamente en inglés.
- Las competencias específicas del departamento se completarán en el departamento aplicable durante el proceso de orientación.
