Job Overview

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a skilled Payroll & HR Coordinator to support our clients with payroll processing, compliance, and administration.

This role involves ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee data, reviewing timesheets, and preparing certified payroll reports. The successful candidate will have experience in payroll administration, certified payroll, and human resources information systems (HRIS). We require proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of regulations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and distribute payroll for all employees while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Enter, verify, and update employee data within the HRIS system
  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets
  • Prepare and submit certified payroll reports to government agencies
  • Maintain compliance with wage and labor laws and their impact on our payroll programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration and certified payroll
  • Proven knowledge of payroll, benefits, and certified payroll regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems, such as ADP or Workday
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Davis-Bacon Act (DBRA) experience required
