Additional Information

As a Designated Paraprofessional Substitute, your responsibilities include:
1) You will be assigned to fill in for a Paraprofessional or Classroom Aide on a daily basis. Assignments will be coordinated by the Human Resource Department's Substitute Service Desk, which may contact you at any time, including early morning on the day of the assignment. You are expected to work every day, excluding holidays and weekends.

2) Working hours will differ from one school site to another and may change from day to day. Each assignment will last a minimum of 5.5 hours and can extend up to 6.5 hours daily.

3) Designated Substitutes may be utilized in various roles as needed to assist the school site effectively.

4) Be prepared to work across all educational levels, in any classroom, and support all students from Preschool through grade 12.
