Job Title: CVOR Technologist

Job Description:

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join their team. As a CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, as well as providing technical support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
  • Provide technical support during surgical procedures, including handling instruments and equipment.
  • Participate in the cleaning and disinfection of the operating room and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
  • Current CPR provider card.
  • Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population.
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
