Job Summary

Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a skilled RN Charge Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Neurology Unit, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure effective patient care.
* Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
* Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
* Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

* BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
* Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required.
* 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
