About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team on behalf of our clients. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating existing structural conditions, designing repair and protection systems, and managing construction processes. You will work closely with clients and contractors to ensure project success.

Your Mission:
  • Manage structural design projects, including repairs and envelope protection systems.
  • Evaluate engineering problems, analyze designs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Lead the bidding and construction process, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
  • Use CAD software for design and modeling tasks (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Conduct site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with specifications.

  • Structural Design: Expertise in creating and analyzing structural repair systems.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish.
  • Engineering Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
  • Communication: Strong skills in client and contractor interaction, ensuring clear project goals.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in structural engineering and inspections.
  • Active Engineering Intern (EI) License.
  • Expertise in using CAD and drafting tools for engineering designs.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Skills Required:
  • Structural Design: Proficient in creating repair and protection systems for buildings.
  • Project Management: Experienced in overseeing bidding, planning, and construction phases.
  • Engineering Tools: Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Field Inspections: Ability to evaluate site conditions and ensure construction quality.
Certifications:
  • Active Engineering Intern (EI) License Required.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Required.
  • Master's degree in civil engineering Preferred.
Work Environment & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

  • Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating construction sites.
