Wendy's General Manager Job Description

Meritage Hospitality Group, a leading QSR operator, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead a Wendy's restaurant. This role involves driving sales and achieving performance goals, developing people and teams, and executing operational standards and excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the restaurant management team to meet sales and budget goals
  • Monitor tasks performed by employees to ensure compliance with Quality, Service, & Cleanliness programs
  • Ensure proper training and compliance
  • Manage food, labor, and paper costs as well as other controllable expenses
  • Make decisions regarding the hiring and termination of employees
  • Attend meetings requested by the District Manager or Area Director

Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience, preferably within quick service restaurants
  • Ability to perform all duties of restaurant staff
  • Age 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
