We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
- Assist patients in feeling comfortable and answer their questions when necessary.
- Collaborate with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Possess necessary computer skills including typing, Word, Internet, EMR, etc.
- Make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- Participate in the business marketing referral process when necessary.
- Comply with HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Familiarize with PT billing procedures, including knowledge of DX and ICD-10 coding.
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients and assisting with mobility needs.
- Protect patient privacy in accordance with Company policies and legal regulations.
- Report any privacy concerns or breaches to the designated Privacy Officer.
- Participate in Company privacy training and communicate privacy policy information as required.
- Comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active license or plan to test in the near future as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work.
- Degree in Physical Therapy.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in an outpatient/rehabilitation setting with a focus on patient safety and continuous movement during working hours.
