Position Overview:
Homestead Home Health Care Services is in search of dedicated and empathetic Senior Care Providers to deliver essential support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
- Report any changes in residents' health status to the supervising staff.
- Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and support services.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Experience in elder care is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Valid driver's license or identification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with punctuality for all shifts.
Work Schedule:
This position is part-time, with caregivers scheduled for 8-hour shifts.
Compensation:
The starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.
