Job Summary:

US Engine Valve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that job functions maintain or improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions, performs preventive maintenance, and ensures that job functions maintain or improve product quality.
  • Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Completes projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, material handling, and remodeling work areas.
  • Assists in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.

Additional Information:

  • Works well in a team environment and accomplishes projects in a timely basis with acceptable workmanship.
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required.
