Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Teacher to join our team at the Colville Tribes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a course of instruction designed to aid each student in meeting the school's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology-based instructional programs for students in grades K-8.
  • Assist teachers in utilizing technology to enhance classroom instruction.
  • Develop a scope and sequence for technology instruction.
  • Ensure the implementation of the PSIS prescribed math curriculum.
  • Mentor and model effective math instruction.
  • Assess math data to inform instructional decisions.
  • Provide constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Align and monitor tutoring, after-school, and other math support programs with student learning needs.
  • Participate in curriculum development.
  • Enforce school rules and regulations.
  • Provide individualized support to students.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
  • Evaluate student growth.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Select and utilize instructional support materials.
  • Communicate with parents as needed.
  • Develop and maintain long-term and short-term goals.
  • Apply principles of learning to instructional practices.
  • Accept assigned duties from supervisors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sign the PSIS Oath of Confidentiality.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and subordinates.
