Music Director

We are seeking a skilled Music Leader to provide musical services for the Bliss Community Chapel contemporary Protestant service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a music leader in contemporary praise and worship style music, with a basic knowledge of the Christian Faith (Protestant) and familiarity with the musical traditions/customs of the contemporary Protestant Christian Church.
The Music Leader will be responsible for directing the congregation music teams, selecting worship songs for congregational singing, and performing at music team rehearsals as directed by the schedule of services.
The successful candidate will have the ability to read sheet music, play instruments with tempo, rhythm, and registration to a large congregation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the congregation music teams according to the direction of the Bliss Community Chapel Senior Pastor/Chaplain.
- Select worship songs for congregational singing, offertories, and special selections.
- Perform at music team rehearsals as directed by the schedule of services.
- Read sheet music and play instruments with tempo, rhythm, and registration to a large congregation.
