Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform DEXA scans and diagnostic radiographic services with precision and accuracy, adhering to legal scope of licensure.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Evaluate radiographs and DEXA scans for technical quality, ensuring optimal results.
  • Respond to physician inquiries regarding exams, providing clear and concise information.
  • Understand and utilize equipment settings to produce high-quality images and DEXA scans.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for medication management and patient confidentiality.
  • Exhibit professional behavior, respect, and empathy towards patients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • A state license and/or ARRT certification may be required, depending on state regulations.
  • Experience working in a high-volume setting is essential.
  • Leadership experience is preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
