The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is actively seeking a Full-Time Nursing Faculty member (Appointment-Stream) within the Division of Biological & Health Sciences, commencing in Fall 2024.

Qualifications: A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Ph.D. in Nursing preferred (or ABD by the specified start date). Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of nursing experience and demonstrate a strong dedication to undergraduate education. Current RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania is essential (dual licensure in New York State is advantageous), along with the necessary clearances and BLS certification or the ability to obtain these prior to employment commencement. Experience in teaching at the collegiate level is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching twelve credits per semester in undergraduate Nursing courses. Preferred teaching areas include ASN theory, laboratory, clinical instruction, and/or RN-BSN theory. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant professional experience. Candidates with a background in working with diverse student populations and practical experience in their field of expertise are strongly encouraged to apply.
