Job Title: Principal DevSecOps/DevOps Software Engineer

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevSecOps/DevOps Software Engineer to join our Mission Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing DevSecOps/DevOps pipelines for our Common Open Secure Mission Computing (COSMC) IRAD product line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of DevSecOps/DevOps pipelines for Agile software development teams
  • Develop and enhance robust embedded software solutions to meet open system design objectives and technical performance requirements
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined engineering teams, project leadership, and peers to effectively communicate design and implementation rationale
  • Experience with virtualization, virtual machines, Docker/Containers, Red Hat Linux Operating System development, and real-time, embedded software development
  • Proficient in C++ Object-Oriented development and network protocols such as Ethernet and PCIe
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
