Core Duties:

- Design, develop, and implement innovative cloud-based solutions.
- Architect cloud frameworks and finalize plans and specifications for solution development.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create specifications for new cloud-based products, services, applications, and solutions.
- Lead the deployment of cloud management platforms, assess their performance, and implement necessary enhancements.
- Expand and enhance the product portfolio of cloud services and value-added offerings.
- Generate solution recommendations, including Basis of Estimate for cloud services.
- Analyze the cost/benefit of various hosting solutions, identifying IT infrastructure components with the highest potential for cloud deployment.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platform solutions.
- Implement and sustain automation to improve operations, alerting, and auto-remediation of incidents.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy infrastructure as code utilizing CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; 10 years with an MS/MA; or 7 years with a Ph.D. Consideration for HS+16 years of experience.
  • DOD Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Certifications: IAT II and Azure certification required.
  • Extensive senior-level experience in designing, architecting, building, and operating a DevSecOps pipeline in Azure government high cloud.
  • Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with accrediting DevSecOps infrastructure and supporting DOD/USMC RMF processes.
  • Proficiency with VMWARE infrastructure.
  • Experience in collaborating with application developers and operators to implement DevSecOps capabilities and processes.
Desired:
  • ITIL training or certification is preferred.
  • AWS certification is a plus.

Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
