Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at MAC Trailer. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our trailers by conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections of trailers to identify defects and non-conformities
  • Use various types of inspection equipment, including ultrasonic thickness testers and digital calipers
  • Read and interpret part prints and air/electric schematics
  • Document inspections in both written and electronic form
  • Identify non-conforming material and notify appropriate personnel
  • Work with other departments to contain non-conforming material
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in an inspection role
  • High School diploma or general equivalency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to use and read inspection tools
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily conducted in a manufacturing setting with some work conducted outdoors and/or shop floor environment with noise, dust, operating machinery, and high traffic volume.
