Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Therapist to join our team at WVUHS Home Care, LLC. As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and treating patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Deliver speech-language interventions and services to patients
  • Consult with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Therapist
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability coverage
Work Environment

The Speech-Language Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including patient homes, clinics, and hospitals. The position requires frequent travel and may involve exposure to bodily fluids, human tissues, contagious diseases, sharps, and explosive gases.
