Meat Cutter Job Description

As a Meat Cutter at Food City, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and freshness in our meat department. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cutting, trimming, chopping, and grinding meat and seafood products to meet customer demands
  • Traying and wrapping products to display them in an attractive and appealing manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including coolers and storage areas
  • Assisting with ordering and receiving product shipments
  • Operating electric meat saws, grinders, and other meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
