Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for operating required machinery and equipment, assembling mechanical & electronic assemblies and kits, and following the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate required machinery and equipment, including electric hand tools, manual hand tools, small overhead cranes, pallet jacks, electric hand jacks, etc.
  • Assemble mechanical & electronic assemblies and kits using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Follow the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, ensuring NCM material is properly red-tagged and placed in the appropriate location
  • Work with team to meet daily production goals while following a manufacturing schedule
  • Read and understand all policies, procedures, work instructions, and test instructions associated with assigned station(s)
  • Report issues that may jeopardize employee safety, product quality, and/or on-time delivery
  • Adhere to the 6S program, keeping your station(s) and work area clean, well-organized, and free of any safety hazards
  • Be on time, at your station, and ready-to-work at the beginning of your shift, after lunch, and break times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in light general manufacturing assembly
  • Experience with using a variety of tools for the assembly of mechanical and electrical components
  • Familiar with 5S and general safety requirements
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing work instructions with minimal assistance
  • Proven track record of meeting production goals without sacrificing quality
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as work orders demand
