About the JobThe estimated salary for this position is $300,000 per year, based on industry standards and market research. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluating patients' vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors
- Working with a medical team to design a patient's treatment plan
- Supervising nurses when they administer anesthesia to patients before procedures
- Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed
- Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs
- Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness
- Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license to practice in Georgia
- Proven experience as an Anesthesiologist, with a strong track record of administering anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures
- Experience in outpatient surgery center
- INDEPENDENT and does not need CRNAs
- Interventional pain and Bariatrics plastic experience (preferred but not a deal-breaker)
- Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical teams, patients, and families
- Commitment to patient safety and the highest standards of medical care
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment
