About the Job

The estimated salary for this position is $300,000 per year, based on industry standards and market research. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluating patients' vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors
  • Working with a medical team to design a patient's treatment plan
  • Supervising nurses when they administer anesthesia to patients before procedures
  • Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed
  • Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs
  • Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness
  • Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Valid state medical license to practice in Georgia
  • Proven experience as an Anesthesiologist, with a strong track record of administering anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures
  • Experience in outpatient surgery center
  • INDEPENDENT and does not need CRNAs
  • Interventional pain and Bariatrics plastic experience (preferred but not a deal-breaker)
  • Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical teams, patients, and families
  • Commitment to patient safety and the highest standards of medical care
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment
