Job Overview

As an MRI Technologist at Deaconess, you will play a critical role in continuing our healing mission. You will be responsible for supervising and performing procedures in various departments, including the ER, Surgical Suite, Nursing Units, Main Department, and Ancillary Departments.

IV administration of contrast is required. You will perform MRI scanning and procedures at an appropriate level of competency, collect and research data needed to perform MRI safely, and perform IV injections using safe sterile technique.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform procedures in various departments
  • Perform MRI scanning and procedures at an appropriate level of competency
  • Collect and research data needed to perform MRI safely
  • Perform IV injections using safe sterile technique
  • May be assigned to other modalities for assistance as needed
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging program
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state in which you will practice
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist prior to, or within 6 months of hire - MRI Credentials preferred
  • Advanced registry in MRI is required within eighteen (18) months of hire
