The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a skilled Intelligence Analysis Specialist. This role requires a deep understanding of utilizing intelligence and information from diverse sources to evaluate, interpret, predict, and elucidate various national security matters that are either regional or functional in scope.
Key Responsibilities:
This position offers comprehensive all-source analytic support to military, Defense, and Service customers, aligning with defense intelligence priorities and requirements.
- Contribute to the Defense Intelligence Enterprise by producing foundational assessments, warning reports, technical briefings, and other analytic documents.
- Collaborate with the Intelligence Community, Defense Department, national laboratories, and academic institutions to tackle various foreign adversary and threat challenges.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff, review their work, and contribute authoritatively to multi-functional analytic teams.
- Effectively communicate and represent official government analytic positions during customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and substantial experience in intelligence analysis.
- Over 5 years of experience utilizing multi-INT databases for analytic assessments and briefings.
- Familiarity with established Intelligence Community directives and standards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and possess excellent communication skills.
- Capability to convey complex analyses to diverse military audiences and senior government officials.
- Proficient in articulating technical analysis results in writing.
- Understanding of intelligence cycle processes and the ability to enhance them with tailored all-source support.
- Experience in providing all-source intelligence support for military planning and operations.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or specialized training related to the Intelligence Community.
- Military or defense-related experience with knowledge of strategies to counter CBRN threats.
- Experience in developing and communicating methodological approaches to complex problems.
- Knowledge of state nuclear, biological, and chemical programs and WMD-related proliferation.
- Proficiency with network analysis tools and methodologies.
