Job Summary:

Rottinghaus Company Inc. dba Subway is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor scheduling of employees and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Manage employee payroll and benefits.
  • Conduct new hire paperwork and training.
  • Explain company policies and procedures to new hires.
  • Interview and hire new employees.
  • Train employees to perform their duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Consult employees on policy and procedure violations.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns.
  • Meet company expectations for productivity, sales, and food cost standards.
  • Complete weekly food orders and take inventory.
  • Keep the store clean and organized.
  • Maintain proper health standards and Subway operational standards.
  • Complete required training, including Subway University courses.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and the Regional Manager.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Intermediate math skills to count back change and reconcile money.
  • Must pass a background check.

Rottinghaus Company Inc. dba Subway is an equal opportunity employer. Salary is based on a 40-hour work week and includes an hourly base rate and bonus rate opportunities.
