**Job Responsibilities**

  • Provide safe and effective patient care by assisting healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and administrative duties.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring timely treatment and resolution of issues.
  • Request laboratory and X-ray orders from specialty offices or primary care physicians.
  • Document patient histories within our electronic medical record system.
  • Refill medication requests and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
  • Counsel patients on case management and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Vaccinate patients according to established protocols.
  • Coordinate with medical assistants to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Oversee mail and fax correspondence to ensure timely completion.
  • Complete forms and forward them to healthcare providers for review and approval.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Completion of high school and/or GED required.
  • Graduation from vocational school with LVN training required.
  • Current licensure to practice in California as an LVN required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certificate required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and practice management systems necessary.
  • Able to problem-solve and prioritize tasks effectively.
