The Pavement Preservation Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billings Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the full billing cycle from invoice to collection, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full cycle billing from invoice to collection, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Input invoices into accounting software, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Manage and enter all change orders, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal departments.
- Generate and obtain construction waivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
- Apply customer payments and research and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Prioritize collection of pay applications and retainage, ensuring timely payment and minimizing delays.
- Maintain clean and accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare weekly reports for accountants, providing valuable insights and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required for this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to three years' previous experience in billing and invoicing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Paid time off - 120 hrs. (3 weeks) upon hire, 200 hrs. (5 weeks) after 5 years of service.
