Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide aggressive customer service through greeting customers and processing transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify merchandise quantities, descriptions, and prices to ensure accuracy
  • Handle returns/exchanges and sales of merchandise
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Receiving payment on commercial accounts and aiding in credit application completion
  • Completing and filing due tickets for customers needing a later pick-up
  • Accurately counting down all tenders and preparing deposits
  • Utilizing the credit and check verification system according to established company policy and procedures
  • Ensuring the daily inflow and outflow of paperwork is handled efficiently and precisely
Requirements:
  • Good oral/written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and other associates
  • Customer service-oriented and team-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and stock items in overhead areas
