Our program delivers telehealth services 24/7/365, partnering with NY State hospitals to train, support, or conduct full exams. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will serve in an on-call capacity, responding to hospital partners' needs and providing compassionate, clinically competent, and prompt service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services: Provide clinical support to victims/survivors of crime, including conducting sexual assault forensic exams.
- Training and Support: Participate in training and ongoing quality improvement processes to enhance your skills and expertise.
- Communication: Collaborate with hospital partners, patients, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree as Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse with active NY State licensure.
- Completion of Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner training (40 hours) at a recognized SAFE program.
- Three (3) years of experience or more as a SAFE Provider, with a minimum of 50 cases completed independently.
We prioritize providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of quality. As a TeleSafe Nursing Specialist, you will adhere to company, state, and federal policies, procedures, and protocols for sexual assault exams. You will also maintain contact information for at least three years after contract ends, facilitating testimony or case follow-up when necessary.
