Job Summary:

The Breast Surgeon is a key member of the multidisciplinary care team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and education. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Breast Surgery.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible.
Work Environment:

This role is based at the JPS Health Network's Infusion and Oncology Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and education.
