Job Overview:

We are in search of an AWS Cloud Application Engineer with expertise in DevOps methodologies to enhance our team.

The AWS Application/DevOps Engineer will take charge of architecting, developing, and deploying cloud-centric applications on the AWS ecosystem while also automating and optimizing the DevOps workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and deploy cloud-centric applications on the AWS ecosystem.
• Automate and optimize the DevOps workflows utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
• Implement and sustain AWS infrastructure to bolster applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ascertain and prioritize requirements and formulate project plans.
• Ensure applications and infrastructure adhere to performance, security, and reliability benchmarks.
• Diagnose and resolve challenges related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
• Remain informed about emerging trends and technologies in AWS, cloud computing, and DevOps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, EFS, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies such as continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), version control, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with managing DevOps tools such as Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Ansible in the AWS cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
