Radiology Technologist Job Details

Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Radiology Technologist to work with our team in Glens Falls, New York. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Operate imaging equipment, including adjusting settings and ensuring proper function
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist in the state of New York
  • 2+ years of experience in radiology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Proficiency in radiology software and equipment
