Job Overview

Routes will service Laurens, SC and nearby regions.

Schedule: 5 consecutive days a week including weekends; shift: 5am - completion of the route

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is tasked with selling, ordering, and showcasing products. This role is essential for introducing new products and promotions, collaborating with clients to generate precise product orders, ensuring that commercial strategies are executed effectively across their customer base, and merchandising products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees, sells, and executes strategies within a designated group of clients on daily, pre-set routes, generating sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency to ensure operational success and contribute to the company's financial performance in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
  • Implements relevant promotions and new products according to target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing campaigns, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial strategies to ensure excellence in execution for assigned clients.
  • Restocks, displays, and rotates products on shelves and displays according to established procedures and special programs.
  • Organizes and maintains storage areas by arranging products by type and flavor, coordinating the return of empty pallets and damaged products to the branch.
  • Creates and distributes promotional materials for displays and shelves where permitted. Rotates products and ensures proper operation of vendor equipment.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with store personnel through regular follow-ups on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and discussions on upcoming activities.
  • Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could affect the business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, changes in strategy) and executes all duties safely.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Previous customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly).
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Post-secondary education beyond high school is preferred.
  • High initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Career-oriented mindset and a competitive spirit.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage.
