Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Court at Round Rock. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily routines, personal care, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Report observations and pertinent information related to resident care to the supervisor.
- Provide services that support resident care and review care plans to ensure daily care routines are up-to-date.
- Participate in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
- Identify staff educational needs and contribute to the development of training programs.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner, adhering to unit facility policies.
- Ensure resident rooms are safe and clean, removing soiled linens and replacing them as needed.
- Assist with activity participation, encouraging residents to engage in activities, leading programs, and documenting participation.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and address their requests accordingly.
- Assist with dietary responsibilities, serving meals and cleaning the meal area as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience or student nurse preferred.
- Completion of certification program for Nursing Assistants preferred.
- Experience working with the elderly is desirable.
- Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently.
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and personal hygiene training required.
