The Personal Banker Associate I is a key role in our Retail Banking team, focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Building Strong Customer Relationships: Use the consultative sales process to identify and meet the financial needs of customers, providing personalized solutions and recommendations.
  • Driving Sales and Growth: Proactively reach out to customers, set appointments, and engage in outside sales activities to cross-sell and upsell products and services.
  • Collaborating with Business Partners: Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners to provide timely and holistic financial solutions to customers.
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: Act with confidence, answer customer questions, and own customer issues to maintain a position of trust and responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Financial Industry Experience: Experience in the financial industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal Office Environment: The role requires working in a normal office environment, with extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Travel Requirements: The program will require the ability to travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility.
