NES Health is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico.
About the HospitalOur hospital is a 162-bed community hospital that is part of the Community Health Systems network. We are a Level III Trauma Center and have a Medhost EDIS EMR system, which will be transitioning to CERNER in September 2024. We are a teaching hospital with medical students, APP students, nursing students, and RadTech students.
Coverage Details- Teleradiology and Tele Interventional Radiology services are available.
- Pediatrics are covered by Family Medicine physicians.
- Psychiatry services are provided by a 25-bed adult psych unit.
- Anesthesiology services are provided by a CRNA team.
- Tele-Intensivists are available 24/7.
- Ultrasound services are available.
- Hospitalist services are provided.
- General Surgery services are available.
- Podiatry services are available.
- Gastroenterology services are available.
- Cardiology services are available, including 2 diagnostic and 1 interventional cardiologists.
- Tele Neurology services are available 24/7.
- Neurology services are available.
- We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
We have a 23-bed ED with 28,000 annual visits. Our admission rate from the ED is 16%. We have 18 hours/day of ED scribe coverage and ED writes bridge holding orders. We respond to floor codes and have 12-hour Physician Shifts (36 hours/day) and 12-hour APP Shifts (12 hours/day).
Qualifications- Active New Mexico license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license.
- Candidate must be PA/FNP trained and BC.
- Active BLS, ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
