Position Summary:

We are seeking an Inspector who will play a crucial role in ensuring that all client facilities, both underground and aerial, adhere to established standards through thorough inspections and oversight of contractor work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed inspections and audits of plant facilities.
  • Document all findings electronically, ensuring accurate records of inspections and pole transfers.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels to coordinate inspection activities.
  • Occasionally perform manual inspections using printed documentation as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in underground construction and inspection is essential.
  • Prior involvement with NESC inspections or experience on an aerial cable line crew is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with wooden pole ground line inspections is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Experience in managing construction contractors is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel on short notice are mandatory.
