Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances, and preparing business activity reports and financial position forecasts.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, and manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Supervise and manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
  • Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or related certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including cost accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and other accounting software.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
