Entegee is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter I to join our team. As a key member of our paint shop, you will be responsible for preparing, masking, sanding, and painting aircraft while ensuring compliance with safety and painting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by applying masking materials and sanding to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply glazing and sealing compounds to prepare surfaces for final painting.
- Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment to ensure efficient and effective painting processes.
- Mix paints and primers for application, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Use personal protective equipment and ensure aircraft interior protection to prevent damage and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow paint shop standard practices to ensure consistency and quality in all painting processes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of painting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
- Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification.
- Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process.
- Working knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and acrylics).

- Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
