Job Summary

Entegee is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter I to join our team. As a key member of our paint shop, you will be responsible for preparing, masking, sanding, and painting aircraft while ensuring compliance with safety and painting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by applying masking materials and sanding to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Apply glazing and sealing compounds to prepare surfaces for final painting.
  • Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment to ensure efficient and effective painting processes.
  • Mix paints and primers for application, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment and ensure aircraft interior protection to prevent damage and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Follow paint shop standard practices to ensure consistency and quality in all painting processes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of painting experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
  • Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification.
  • Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process.
  • Working knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and acrylics).

  • Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
