About the Role

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Ensure a sterile field is prepared before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Instrumentation and Supply Management: Assist surgeons by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment during operations.
  • Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use, upholding sterile techniques and infection control practices throughout all procedures.
  • Patient Positioning and Preparation: Assist in patient positioning and preparation prior to surgery.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate needs and ensure seamless procedures.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of surgical procedures and patient information.
Qualifications
  • Education and Certification: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required; Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required prior to start date; BLS certification required prior to start date.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience in a surgical setting with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques preferred; Excellent knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols preferred; Strong communication skills with the ability to perform well under pressure.
