We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment at Labelink. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting and maintaining machinery.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:
- Safely diagnose, repair, and maintain paper printing and converting machinery.
- Address equipment concerns raised by operators, quality control, and supervisors.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery and keep accurate records.
- Construct and modify tools and equipment based on technical drawings or specifications.
- Perform general carpentry tasks.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of facility systems including lighting, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Engage in general upkeep of the building and surrounding grounds.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, welding equipment, drill presses, and other power tools.
- Ability to utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
Hours: To be determined
CompensationSalary: Starting at $22.00 per hour
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Familiarity with operational procedures and maintenance protocols.
- Mechanical expertise is essential; electrical knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in a production or finishing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
- Precision and accuracy in work are crucial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to safety practices.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential, with a willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Collaborative mindset to achieve team objectives.
- Adaptability to quickly learn and perform varied tasks in a dynamic environment.
