Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to address motor deficits and functional impairments in pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and cutting-edge techniques to promote optimal development and function in children.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to address these needs.
- Develop and implement home exercise programs and provide education to families and caregivers on how to support their child's development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and research in pediatric physical therapy.
- Contribute to the development of clinical practices and procedures that promote excellence in care and support.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with children with complex developmental needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
- Current registration with the appropriate licensing board and certification in pediatric physical therapy (if applicable).
