About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety needs of all residents are met. This includes implementing service agreements, monitoring and maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of potential residents and implement service agreements upon move-in.
- Monitor and maintain each resident's medical record, ensuring timely completion of assessments and documentation.
- Ensure all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours.
- Maintain and monitor medication administration programs, supervising medication practices and medical equipment.
- Provide health and medication training to new employees and document training to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and maintain licensure.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.
