Dialysis Nurse

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Department as a Flex Full-time Registered Nurse. This role will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in our Dialysis Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, may serve as a preceptor.

• Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where the facility is located.
• UPMC approved national certification preferred.
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
