As we continue to expand, we are in search of a skilled Calibration Technician to enhance our support for our growing customer demands.

Position: Calibration Technician

The Calibration Technician will focus on the laboratory calibration of products utilized in fluid measurement and processing systems, including flow meters, pumps, and various machinery. This role offers full-time employment with the possibility of overtime. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in mechanical test calibration and demonstrate the capability to set up and operate calibration equipment independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document calibration test certifications for products in compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Adhere to established calibration procedures to guarantee precise and reliable outcomes.
  • Ensure the calibration of testing equipment, measuring instruments, and systems aligns with specified standards.
  • Detect potential malfunctions in testing equipment and systems, providing troubleshooting solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure calibration procedures meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the calibration of products.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with a solid understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
  • Background in engineering, electrical, and mechanical technology.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Proficient in using tools for assembly and disassembly of mechanical devices, with the ability to make precise adjustments.
  • Experience with computer-based calibration equipment and software.
  • Strong mathematical skills, capable of performing calculations and interpreting numerical data.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including ISO 17025 and ISO 9000.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, with the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
