We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Essel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing exceptional maintenance services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct electrical and plumbing work, including repairs and installations.
- Perform carpentry and painting tasks, including repairs and touch-ups.
- Assist with custodial work, including cleaning and maintenance of common areas.
- Participate in on-call emergency schedule rotation for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on manufacturer's recommendations and operating manuals.
- High School education or equivalent.
- 1-3 years maintenance experience or experience in a related field.
- Ability to work with persons of all ethnic and religious backgrounds and understand the problems of residents.
- Concern for work-safety program.
- Some type of formal training or experience in areas such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, HVAC, Appliance repair, Swimming Pool Operations.
- On-the-job training.
- Paid training.
