Telemetry Technician

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by monitoring and interpreting electrocardiogram (ECG) patterns.

• Monitor and document ECG patterns of patients in real-time
• Identify and interpret abnormal heart rhythms and notify healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic dysrhythmia course completion with acceptable score
• Annual recertification course completion in basic dysrhythmia with acceptable score
• At least 6 months of related work experience
