Join Our Team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Virtus Health is seeking a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Sarasota North. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ABA therapy following individualized treatment plans to increase desired skills and decrease challenging behaviors
  • Collect data on client behaviors and skill acquisition
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client success
  • Maintain client clinical session notes and daily documentation
  • Assist Behavioral Analysts in developing reports and conducting assessments

  • Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM

  • Ability to transfer to other Virtus Health locations based on availability
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience working with special needs populations or as a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Ability to receive feedback and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities required for the role

Please note that a Level Two Background Check is required for this position.
