The Clinical Dietitian II provides comprehensive nutrition care to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and documentation is accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain dietetic registration, government-required credentials, and continuing education requirements.
- Conduct patient nutrition assessments, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement nutrition intervention plans in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.
- Conduct rounding to drive patient satisfaction.
- Assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.
- Evaluate achievement of learning objectives and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare and regulatory agency standards.
- Work cooperatively with medical staff and food and nutrition services staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care orders.
- Provide education on food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain accurate record keeping of daily clinical activities.
- Requires at least 2 years of clinical practice experience.
- Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with coursework accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
- Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements.
- Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in the geographic location where applicable.
