Banner Health, a leading healthcare provider in Arizona, offers a unique opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Critical Care Nurses. As part of our medical surgical renal diabetic unit, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
We are seeking skilled and compassionate nurses who possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes. This role is ideal for registered nurses who have a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting and are looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Care Planning: Develop individualized plans of care that address patients' specific needs and goals, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Nursing Interventions: Implement evidence-based nursing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes, including medication administration, wound care, and pain management.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and families to promote healthy behaviors, disease management, and overall well-being.
- Evaluation: Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the state of practice, temporary/interim licensure, or compact licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting; preferably in a medical surgical renal diabetic unit.
