We are seeking a skilled Materials Testing Chemist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing effective solutions and nurturing a culture of development within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine Portland cement and associated materials.
- Oversee client projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct laboratory procedures and analyze test specimens.
- Interpret analytical results and compile comprehensive reports.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Execute specialized testing in both laboratory and field settings.
- Investigate anomalies in results and document findings.
- Assist in the training and development of team members.
- Promote safety and efficiency in the workplace.
- Deliver analytical reports and findings to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 5-10 years of pertinent laboratory experience.
- Expertise in wet chemistry methodologies.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles and analytical problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Skilled in X-ray techniques and calorimetry analysis.
- Proficiency in X-ray diffraction and fluorescence techniques.
- Familiarity with various spectroscopy and analytical methods.
